LiftCue (“the app”) is an iOS app by Nick Onofrio that analyzes your exercise videos with Google Gemini to give form feedback. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.
If you create an account, we collect and store with our authentication provider (Supabase):
This data is used only to operate your account (sign-in, account recovery, showing your name in the app). It is linked to your identity. It is never used for advertising, tracking, or sold to anyone.
Our authentication provider also processes standard technical metadata as part of sign-in (such as sign-in timestamps and IP addresses); we do not use this data for anything beyond operating the service.
An account is optional — the app’s core features work without one.
Deleting the app deletes this on-device data.
When you analyze a video, the app sends it directly to Google’s Gemini API under your own API key — not to us. Google automatically deletes uploaded files after 48 hours. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Google API Terms and the Gemini API Additional Terms.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → your account → Delete account. This permanently removes your email, display name, and sign-in identifiers from Supabase.
You can also email us (address below) to request access to, correction of, or a copy of the account data we hold about you. Account data is retained until you delete your account.
LiftCue is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
